The Challenge

An AgTech startup had built a cutting-edge IoT platform for monitoring grain bins — tracking temperature and moisture to reduce spoilage. But the problem was awareness. With a long, seasonal buying cycle and a niche audience of commercial elevator operators and farm managers, their incredible tech wasn’t getting in front of the right people. Their message was too technical, and buyers didn’t yet see the clear return on investment.

The Approach

We worked to reposition the product story around loss prevention and profitability, rather than sensors and systems. The message became simple and direct: every percentage point of grain saved meant thousands of dollars back in farmers’ pockets.

Next, we built a LinkedIn outreach campaign targeting decision-makers in operations and facility management, using case-style messaging that highlighted efficiency, risk reduction, and quick payback. Personalized messages and consistent touchpoints turned initial curiosity into real conversations.

To amplify reach, the campaign included thought leadership posts and testimonial snippets from early users, helping new prospects visualize the impact in their own operations.

The Results

The company secured 61 qualified leads, 18 pilot installations, and 3 new distributor partnerships. These results helped validate the technology and opened the door for national expansion — a critical leap for a startup that had previously relied only on trade shows and word-of-mouth.
